WHAT IS IT?
Coco-Caprylate is a lightweight ester produced from renewable, coconut-derived fatty alcohols and caprylic acid. It spreads easily and provides a silky finish similar to certain silicones, while remaining completely silicone-free.
ORIGIN
Naturally derived from renewable plant-based raw materials, principally coconut-derived fatty components. It is processed through esterification to produce a lightweight, stable cosmetic emollient.

Helps smooth and condition the coat; enhances natural-looking shine; improves the spreadability of botanical oils; softens the heavy or greasy sensation of richer oils; leaves the coat feeling light and silky.
