WHAT IS IT?
Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate is a gentle anionic surfactant used to cleanse the skin and coat. Although its name sounds similar to sodium lauryl sulphate, it belongs to the sulfosuccinate family and is chemically different from traditional sulphate surfactants.
ORIGIN
Manufactured using lauryl alcohol and sulfosuccinic acid. The lauryl component may be obtained from plant oils such as coconut or palm.

DID YOU KNOW?
Despite the similar-sounding name, Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate is not SLS and is not a sulphate. It is a sulfosuccinate selected for its effective cleansing and foam performance. However, the gentleness of any shampoo depends on the balance of the complete formulation—not one ingredient alone.
