WHAT IS IT?
Hydrogenated Ethylhexyl Olivate is a naturally derived emollient made using fatty acids from olive oil. It provides excellent slip and is often used as a plant-based alternative to traditional silicones.

Naturally derived from olive-oil fatty acids, which are esterified and hydrogenated to produce a stable, lightweight conditioning ingredient.

DID YOU KNOW?
Although its name sounds highly technical, the “olivate” portion comes from olive-oil fatty acids. It creates a light, silky finish and can provide some of the sensory benefits associated with silicones—without using silicone.
