WHAT IS IT?
White willow bark extract is obtained from the bark of the Salix alba tree. It naturally contains salicin, polyphenols and flavonoids and is traditionally used in gentle cleansing and conditioning formulations.

Willow bark naturally contains salicin, but salicin is not the same as adding salicylic acid directly to a formulation. Willow bark offers gentler botanical conditioning properties.
